More Black Bomaki Yardage

This time I photographed it all crumpled up just for variety. This piece is 11 yards long by 45 inches wide. ELEVEN YARDS. This is getting big. I like these larger pieces although they take so very much longer to do. It's worth it in the long run I believe.

Thanks Doug. This photo just worked straight out of the box. I was getting tired of doing the straight on looks and thought that I'd try to show some of the sheer size of the piece by scrunching it up some. I'm happy with it, and all anyone has to do to see what it looks like unscrunched is look few entries down...

ps and btw, your comments are always a welcome treat.

Wow!! 11 yards, what kind of cylinder are you using that you could fit eleven yards on? I keep wanting to make yardage but I can't find big enough tools. I have done 3/4 yard pieces. Beautiful colors too!

Thanks for the comment Kellyt! I have a very large pvc pipe that I use to do the big yardage pieces on. It was not easy to find, and it was not inexpensive either, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Besides, ramen for lunch isn't bad... at least for the first two weeks.
